Cik savādi - så konstigt

En halvkass sång (dock bättre än det mesta jag lyckats hitta på lettiska hittills), men bra med skriven text på rutan och översättning till engelska i kommentarerna.

Jag lånar in översättningarna som bfprojekts gjort:


"Cik savādi" - "How odd".
Cik savādi gaisma krīt - how oddly light falls
...No tevis tā...- off of you,
Tev nebij jāpakrīt - you should not have fall.

Kāds tev ar ēnu meta - someone throw you with shadow,
...tu to nejuti... - you did not feel it,


Viegli kā drēbes - easy like clothing,
No tevis nost - off of you,

Ka cits par tevi smej - that other snigger of you,
Un gudri smīn - and wisely sneer.

Tu nemaz to nejuti - you did not felt it at all,
Tikai nokaunies - only feel ashamed.

Gaisma tevī mīt - light (shine) dwells in you
